(NYSE: PBI), which experienced a devastating fire at its presort services facility in Grand Prairie, Texas in February, will host a webinar on the importance of disaster recovery and contingency planning.           Tuesday, October 18, 2011, 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., EDT

A disaster can be large or small. Having a business continuity plan in place is vital for keeping business operations running in the event of a disruption or failure. Being proactive and ensuring teams are well-equipped to make decisions can mean the difference between effective response and a complete breakdown in customer service.

Craig Graeve, vice president, postal relations and support services, Pitney Bowes Presort Services
Donna Childs, founder of Prisere LLC and author of "Prepare for the Worst, Plan for the Best: Disaster Preparedness and Recovery for Small Businesses"
