Media Advisory: Pitney Bowes Hosts Panel of Leading Law Community Figures for Online Explanation of the new FRCP Regulations’ Impact on Litigation Matters

What: Panelists from Ibis Consulting, a Pitney Bowes Company, Forrester Research and CISCO Systems discuss with a national audience of attorneys and executives the impact that revised Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) will have on their litigation work and how attorneys are using cutting edge technology to plan for discovery, preserve discoverable information, and produce case documents.

When: February 27, 2007 12 p.m. (EST) / 9 a.m. (PST)

Why: Electronic documents are fast becoming the predominant form of evidence presented during trial. Effective December 1, 2006, the revised FRCP, which govern legal proceedings in US District Courts laid out stringent rules and procedures attorneys must follow in terms of electronic documents. Attorneys must now maintain, manage and preserve Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in new ways.

Who: Speakers during the the one-hour webinar will include Joel Wuesthoff, Esq., of Ibis Consulting, a Pitney Bowes Company, Barry Murphy, senior analyst from Forrester Research, and Mark Michaels, head of litigation at CISCO Systems, Inc.
