Pitney Bowes’ Emtex® Software Introduces DFWorks® Release 2.4 with Expanded ADF Capabilities

Extended integrity, increased automation, and simplified set–up reduces errors and increases efficiency for print and mailstream workflow

Pitney Bowes’ Emtex Software, theleading provider of Output Management (OM) and Automated Document Factory(ADF) solutions, has expanded its ADF offerings with DFWorksâ, Release 2.4 to include extensive enhancements, and new feature introduction, Mailrun Management module.

With the new Mailrun Management module, job setup automation is simplified and centralized to improve inserter productivity, increase reporting accuracy anddecrease wasted postage. It also helps mailing operations centralize and automate insert plan management for increased operator efficiency and accurate inserter job setup. Time-consuming, manual processes are eliminated, resulting in greater productivity and enhanced compliance processes.

The newly DFWorks enhancements extend the intelligence of the mailstream workflow with additional process automation for precise tracking and easier postage accounting and analysis of high-volume mailing expenditures and charge backs. Inherent in this release is the “At-A-Glance” Productivity ReportModule feature that provides a “dashboard” display of productivity metrics onthroughput, efficiency, accuracy and device alarm statistics, enablingorganizations to drive “Six Sigma” continuous improvement initiatives. Additional enhancements include a job summary report detailing mail piece status anddisposition to provide job-level proof-of-process reporting and satisfy compliance requirements.

DFWorks offers complete flexibility and integration to Pitney Bowes flagship highspeed intelligent inserters with scalable integrity solutions for mail piece quality assurance and business intelligent information to help customers make informed decisions.
